Personally, I think people can express their opinions, but keep it nice, polite and dont make it personal. Surely we're all old enough and ugly enough to be able to agree to differ like big kids.

I also use full punctuation when texting. Can't stand un-punctuated sentences. My mum, at the age of 80, has learned to text now but it has taken us 2 years to do it.
