They were the best Alloy green houses years ago.Mine is 25 years old and the struts are 1/4" look at teh new ones and they are at best 1/8". I would go somewhere where they have them erected so you can look over them. There is a great place near Gatwick that has about 15 erected.

It is actually sterile when it comes out of the tap (so to say). Got any leather shoes that are too tight, pee in them then put them on. It will streach and soften the leather.

Asparagus like Artchoke dont like their root gatting wet. So If you are on clay a raised bed in full sun would be best you need a 4ft wide bed.

In Parlementary fashion. Mr Speaker I refer to my previous answer "Ouch" Thats £30.66 a week. Ok if you are using a 1kw heater thats £10 if it is on all week. I think I will stick to my paraffin at 3 bottles a month. Which is about £3 per week.

I grow mine from seed but it is temperemental and dosent like to travel. Its all happy in the greenhouse harden it off OK, Take to the allotment OK, plant it Ends. Sometimes its ok. Lots of manure before you plant it I say. I am planting another load of seeds today so we will see what happens.

Scaffold pole is a light alloy, you can cut it easy with a hack saw. When the end splits or it gets bent they dump it.
