Ikea Pottint Table!! Yes really!!

Hi Guys. Just wanted to say, I've found an amazing potting table in Ikea of all places (See picture attached) the GRUNDTAL, Trolley its stainless steel, with a plastic top and caster wheels. I've found the built in bowl, and small runs next to it, are perfect for holding my compost/soil mix while I ...

Re: Bay tree outdoors or greenhouse

You don't say where you are Dan, if you put it on your profile it will help you get more specific answers. I'm down in Dorset right near the coast so mine stays out & is fine, but I do move it to the corner beside the house for a bit of protection. ... I forgot that crucial bit of information.....

Bay tree outdoors or greenhouse

Hi guys. Well kinda...) However, I also re...

perennial vegetables/fruit

Hi guys, Long story short, following a knee injury, I'm re-planning my garden, so I can get the most out of it with minimal work (pain). So, I've got 2 raised beds 3'*3', and 5 ground level beds 4'*2' To help reduce workload, I want to dedicate one raised bed and one ground level bed to perennial fr...

Re: fibre pots

To be honest westi, its not a problem I've had. Yes the pots fall apart quite quickly, but I've only had a few where its been a problem. The only 'trick' I've found is to fold the newspaper in half and wrap it round twice. That way, you have 4 layers of paper so it's less likely to split. That or I ...

Re: fibre pots

I had the same with fibre pots... So now I make all my own paper pots using one of these

Although, I made mine myself from scrap wood, they dont cost much to make :)
