Walking up Wood Green High Road (near Tottenham North London) this morning I saw a biker with an eight inch flagpole, complete with folded handkerchief sized flag, firmly glued to the top of his helmet. He was still there a few years ago, the wood being much "decorated" and some locals had some sort of roster to take him hot food. Not sure if he is still there now though as I don't often go past the Chequers.
