World cup gardening side benefit.

It was so peaceful up at the allotment today. Only punctuated by one lot of groans/cheers and then a group of happy little boys re-enacting the match. Mother-in-law had a group of oiks nearby who thought possession of a Tesco soccer rattle made use of same compulsory from kick-off until someone lost...

Stuff soccer, its a game, there are bigger things.

We live in a country ; to whose government we pay somewhat more tax than we should. where the Welsh Police advise England supporters to remove the cross of St George from their cars before driving across the border. where a flatmate of an overpriviledged junior lawyer gets appointed Lord Chancellor...

Tiggers (and Lions) who loose their teeth have a nasty tendancy to become maneaters.

Somenthing to do with men being soft and tender.

Well compared to a large hairy antelope anyway.

Walking up Wood Green High Road (near Tottenham North London) this morning I saw a biker with an eight inch flagpole, complete with folded handkerchief sized flag, firmly glued to the top of his helmet. I do not think I will glue a flagpole to my helmet. Chantal go and lie down in a quiet dark room.

Two ends of the spectrum.

Even better, spnd a thousand times the value of the missing spuds here http://www.kgbcameras.co.uk/cameras/dvr.htm

Alternatively visit your local Army Surplus store and invest in some kit to lurk in your plot unseen.

Just after the Chequers wasn't it?
He was still there a few years ago, the wood being much "decorated" and some locals had some sort of roster to take him hot food. Not sure if he is still there now though as I don't often go past the Chequers.

Mother-in-law paid for mine, worked fine though, on all counts and I did not have my number so had to look it up via the Surname & Postcode, with the e-mail back in seconds. :D
