Re: New Gardening Prog.
How will this work? If you're such a keen veg grower you will already have a plot (and if your haven't got one may be feeling a bit too rusty to go on telly to show off your skills), then you've got to disappear to this provided allotment (where is it? Is it all on one site or spread across the nati...

Re: Plastic Chicken Coop
I worried about this. We had about a dozen self appointed pet hens (ones that for various reasons didn't enjoy life in the big flocks) that lived in our display area, and could choose any of the houses to roost in. We went through the hardest weather I have EVER experienced in November/December 2010...

Re: Dorset Coastal
Yes having spent most of my life either in the Pennines (wet and cold) or in Lincolnshire (dry and really, really cold) this place is very balmy! Re: Allotments - priceless.
I recently moved to Dorset and rented a cottage, and started looking around for an allotment. Then my other half discovered a veg garden that came with the house, that the letting agent didn't know about! It's a bit overgrown but the soil seems good, it has water, fences and its south facing too!

Re: Plastic Chicken Coop
I know it's a while since you posted, but this may be of help to others (I assume your old house has completely disintegrated by now!). I used to run a chicken business and sold the Solway houses, as well as wooden ones (cheap chinese imports) and Eglus. The Eglus were fantastic, especially for the ...
