i have a very large, slightly out of control red robin in the garden, I want to prune it hard, will it survive and re-grow? it will probably be quite bare for a few weeks. Popped down to the plot for a couple of hours this afternoon, to finish off some timber edging for the greenhouse beds. Broke the drill bit! So, I guess that'll have to wait til Sunday then

I use the yellow one, it has done me very well for a good few years. I am though, struggling to find decent fittings that don't leak or loosen and come off!

we had a nice day yesterday (sorry Robo & Monika) We gave last year's potato bed a good going over, then added some compost and planted onion and shallot sets. Put up some trellis for the sweet peas and a few other odds and ends. I am at the stage every year where I really resent being at work, ...

I spent most of the day tidying my greenhouse at home and sowing some more seeds. I can't wait to get to the allotment today, so much to do and the perfect weather to do it

I agree, it is hard to not be always doing stuff, when there is so much on the 'to do' list. I am the same. But sometimes, you just need to stop and take some time for yourself, and try not to feel too guilty about it. Some folk spend every evening on the sofa, and most of the day too! Says she who ...
