Re: Chitting Potatoes
Hi Johnboy, re Jersey royals, I grew up in Jersey, after spring tides the farmers collect the seaweed from the beaches, and stack in heaps to allow the salt to get rained out, then they use it on the land, chitting was done in wooden boxes in a cool shed, they used natural manure too, the flavour wa...

Re: I have begun my first foray into the world of veggie growing
LOL,Hi Piglet, if your hubby likes peas, you might need more than 3 or 4 plants, if it were me I think with his attitude I would be inclined to eat them raw and deliciously sweet from the vine, and blow him another raspberry lol. Peas need a sunny spot to develop sweetness. Another alternative to sq...

Well they are gearing up for election, perhaps you could give them all some feedback ! I also wish in general they would listen actively and respond to what we say, rather than regurgitate automatic party spiel which fails to give me a proper answer to my questions.

Re: Very Silly Drivers (mainly men) sorry
Well if it happens when you are in a narrow road that someone drives that close, then stop the car, open the boot and invite them to drive in !
Don't let them intimidate you, you were driving safely and helping to calm the traffic.
