Checked brassicas growing in netted tunnel thought they had been clown over, inspection showed the roots had been eaten. There was a hole in the ground where the roots should be. Rather wet around the plot yesterday all water butts are full complete contrast to day before which was like a spring day with the auto windows on the greenhouse open.

I have used seaweed when there is a lot washed up on the beach mainly in my compost beds and as dressing on beds plants grew ok. Cant answer your specific questions though Westi

Not sure if you know so apologies if repeating the obvious: You do not need a border for your raised bed You can walk on the compost You can plant into the compost straight away no need to leave it for six months. "Then leave it uncovered for a while, and put a thick layer of compost/manure ear...
