i've been round and fed all my babies. I feel better now, and i hope they do too :)

Not entirely sure what I'm going to do with 130 tomato plants though...

At the moment they're in New Horizon organic peat free compost. Does that count as cheap?

when to feed tomato plants

hello chaps
I have loads of lovely little tomato seedlings. Please can you tell me when I should start feeding them?
I've purchased some organic liquid feed until I get enough of my worm juice for them :)

right then, I've ordered a bokashi bin from those jolly nice fellows at Recycle Now. Presumably because it's acidic there'd be a mass exodus from the Can Community if I tipped it in there, so I guess I'm going to need ideas of what to do with it.

I was having a look at these Bokashi jobbies. The bins themselves seem very expensive! I can speak only personally, but for me the convenience of tea bags outweighs the cost. I have large bone china mugs which hold all but a pint of liquid, so it's not as if I'm not getting the most out of one bag.
