One of my girls laid a very large egg today - 4oz/100g. Couldnt tell which one as non of them had their eyes rolling in their heads or was walking like John Wayne.

Glad I'm not a chicken

One of my chickens laid a soft shelled egg today. It looked like a deflated balloon but the yolk and white which had leaked out looked ok and didnt smell. Should i be worried? :?

hi primrose. You can buy second hand eglus on ebay and on the omlet forum site. My garden is very small and an eglu, run and 3 chickens fit nicely.
