Dear Jane, i agree it sounds like bats, there are always little heaps of wings in the Church tower, and birds are unable to get in there.

Having a look at that photo again, it is a funny shape, but the thing i find scary is that it's also quite hairy. :) :wink:

When i was in the building trade on one big job, they did call me the Reverend because i wouldn't book overtime that i hadn't done.
