This is a bit more like it but, as Clive said, it’s a job to know what jobs to do first….started really early this morning and got work proper done, and then shot over the allotments and planted 120 potato sets…..now time for a spot of lunch!

Not a bad day…..even a little sighting of the Sun, this afternoon!

Managed to get some border work done at one of my jobs this morning but, now just started raining again so, back in the glasshouse again….

Another wet and windy morning and a jumper colder too!
Been potting lots of veg plants on, so the plants should be well advanced, when the time comes to finally plant them out….

It must be so tough for the farmers trying to get the last of the Winter root crops out….maybe the supermarkets will pay them extra, for all their hard efforts….on the other hand!

I did 6 hours of hand weeding and 2 hours of grass mowing today, and don’t I know I have done it…..hips and back are giving me a bit of stick! But really pleased with what I got done….the ground is still too wet for seed sowing, despite the wind and warmth….

More rain over night and first thing this morning…..had some large flower beds to weed through for someone but, have put them off, would have done more harm than good, walking all over them! The weekend is looking good, so hopefully things will start to dry out…..itching to get some things in, over ...

Just had a quick look and it looks like Burnie is still doing his Rugby stuff….so at least that is good!

Very productive, Vivien ….glad i’ve started more stuff than normal, in the glasshouse this year.

On about strawberries, I sent Burnie a PM, but it hasn’t been opened, so I do hope he is okay……

Could have been a lot of people checking to see if Primrose was hung over from the day before, as it being her birthday on the 12th…..
