Catbud...what type of seed do you want? I have load of half packets of seeds...mainly tomato and stuff that I got free but don't plant. If they are any use PM me with your address and I will bung you a few packs in the post.

Because if it was watertight it would also be air tight. As plants feed (yes only the green ones) by photosynthesis at night they thake O2 out of the atmophere and release co2. So if your Greenhouse was full of plants and air tight, and you went in,in the morning and closed the door behind you = Dea...

I would say you have put it in a corner under a tree out of the sun. If it one of those black plastic bins it needs to be in the sun to heat up.

Mix is all up to get air in it. add sheredded paper then...take the top off an p**s into it on a regular basis. In no time it will start breaking down.

I buy the Council stuff by the ton. I go up the depot and they dump it in the trailer with a JCB and off I go. Costs me £10 if I go up the stables I get manure for free but it takes me a morning to shovel it in the trailer. I then mix it with my own manure (that I make not produce) and peleted chick...

But there are two types of compost. General and Potting. Potting is finer has lots of PEAT and has a moisture retainer in it then there is general compost which is a soil conditioner. All the Council stuff and the compost you make your self fits in the second catagory.

Yep...but Public Libality Insurance should be included in your site insurane if not it is cheap. You also want to be a Members Club limited by Grantee, inorher words a ltd company so you dont loose your shirt if your site goes up the swannie.

Remember last year we had a frost in first week of May and a lot of people got court out. I had hoeed mine up the night before so was ok.

If you do plant now hoe them right up..every week. wwe ould still get a frost.
