Remember to mulch well with compost or well rotted manure in autumn and you will be rewarded by nice spears the following year, I find parsley makes a good companion between the rows.

Re: Mr Muck
I put some on one of my flower beds, within a few days a few fungi had popped up, it does contain some well composted wood or bark with the manure, so its also good to encourage the natural fungi to grow, which should benefit most plants. I would give it a thumbs up too.

Since when have those big conglomerates ever been green! That is what the occupy movement and others were demonstrating about with a sense of humour and quite peacefully http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-19028574

Re: Ladybird Lavae in the greenhouses :)
I noticed a few ladybirds again yesterday, will use your tip if its wet again next summer and put some of mine in the greenhouse, they must be around still 'cos there's no aphid problem, and the greenhouse tomatoes are looking fantastic.

Re: Breakfast: the most important meal of the day
I love fruit and veg, so it is often a fruity breakfast. grated apple or frozen fruit mixed into muesli with some yoghurt the night before softens overnight and makes an easy breakfast the following morning, cool and fruity, very nice on oppressively hot days, also home made fruit smoothies. On cool...
