just did abit of weeding cut the grass, watched the rest
of the jubilee then did the watering had no rain for days
here ,jenni is just about to run my bath for me

potatoes in planter bags
Hi all, this is my 1st year at growing my own veg, i have got potatoes in planter bags i have now topped up to the top of the bags and the shoots are about 10inches above the bags now 1st, when is the best time to harvest them. 2nd when is the latest time i can plant more say for harvesting at chris...

hi all, as its our first year of growing our own,we planted some strawberry plants afew weeks ago,they have only been outside now for 3days and some of the leaves on the plants have got brown spots on with like a white spot any ideas what this is and can it be treated. looks like i am going to be on...

when i first moved up here 18yrs ago some people in the village
wouldnt speak to me because i was english but now i can laugh

ah well will try again next year, i had them in a propagator from seed
then put them in larger pots in multi purpose compost they had never
been outdoors before then the first time i put them outdoors by
morning they all had withered i.e (dead)
