Re: Red meat - to eat or not to eat?
Sorry if me and Grock put you off Chantal, but that's what it is. Love a good bit of lamb. I always think they look so gorgeous, gambling about in the fields, so cute and cuddly. Then the next minute i'm wondering what they'd taste like. Animals should be raised properly, with care and allowed to do...

Re: Dydd Gŵyl Ddewi Hapus
The same to you and yours Alan. I have a beautiful big pot of Tete a Tetes in my kitchen and I just love to stand and look at them. Totally perfect. I always feel brighter when I see the first flowers of spring and can smell the wild garlic.

Re: Red meat - to eat or not to eat?
Me and the Grockie are dedicated carcass crunchers and love nothing than a good steak, lamb or pork. Cant do it every day but a couple of times a week. I've been doing loads of the Jamie Oliver 30 minute recipes and they're really tasty. But my fave is a piece of meat that's slow cooked and luscious...

Re: Wellies
I got a lovely pair for Christmas off my son. They are black with skull and crossbones on and so comfy. Got them from Wyndsors and they cost less than £20. Very warm and snug and good grips too.

Re: ITV (Titchmarsh)
Grockie my little fiend, there's a big Alan up in B&Q in Speke, just as you walk into the outdoor gardening section. He frightens the life outta me every time I see the damn thing. There's a nice worker there called Colin, so have a word And yes, Grockies Alan Moment was rather funny and Alan hi...

Re: Going car free
Dont worry about me Grockie, all is fine, plus he knows everything anyway, well almost everything. And there is definitely no howsyerfather involved. No way Pedro. He's just a friend and we get on. I just didnt know who he was when I met him, and now i do, well, it's awkward.
Love you too Grockie

Re: Going car free
Gorgeous Grockie. In the amended words of Bill Clinton, I did not have sexual relations with that man. Ever. Didnt even have a snog. You know I sent the intial cheque back to him, cos I had no intention of accepting it off him, dont care how many naughts were on the end of it. But when a flat bed lo...

Re: Going car free
I would love to go car free but family circumstances prevent it. I need to be able to get places quickly. I'm gutted that the brand new 60 plate Golf that I had given to me has been sold. It had fully integrated cd/mp3/bluetooth/satnav and dab radio in it. Plus it was such fun to drive too. But it h...

Re: Who's going where.
I'm hoping to get last minute tickets for the Glastonbury Festival and will go with my two boys and meet up with my wacky friends and we'll all camp together. Get to see some fantastic music, great company and Lizzie will get to rock Got a load of holiday brochures so are looking through. I would li...

Re: Hughs fish fight
As someone else has said, the mimister should have been prepared. He wasnt, and it showed. He's a politician, on TV so will say what he thinks people will want to hear, and what he does whilst claiming his nice EU expenses, is another matter. He should know his subject. I've certainly signed up to t...

Sweet potatoes
Hi everyone. Has anyone grown sweet spuds? If so, was it worth it? Any advice please for me and Grockie? Thanks

Re: Hughs fish fight
I think it's a bloody disgrace. I really do. The way that the EU has done this is so wrong. I know that a lot of trawlers now use specific nets to catch specific fish, letting the others go free. The programme is on again tomorrow and Hugh is taking on Tescos again. I for one am in for some of that....
