we marked al the odd shaped bits of glass, to help rehome them correctly. the remainder was all the same size & shape. I put all the glass back myself, it was very satisfying. I only broke one piece, just took a corner off as I pressed too hard getting the clip in situ. Good luck, how lucky to h...

I am still here too! I read a lot, then get istracted by multidude other things that I need to do, so I rarely get to reply. This also happens on a couple of other forums I am a member of!

I reckon mine is a 5/8" Richard, so some investigation is required as the rubber/jubilee clip combo only seals so tight.

my garlic is very late maturing this year. I have dug a couple up, they are still growing furiously, but the bulbs are not big enough yet. must make sure they get water.

sorry Richard it seems to be in between the 3/4 and 1" ones, I am stumped! the original adaptor, which is long gone in the bin, I bought without thinking or measuring, it just fitted.

brass outside tap adaptor

I am having trouble finding a replacement tap adaptor for my push on hose fitting. I have bought several tap connectors, all with 2 sizes, 3/4 and 1" to attach directly to the outside tap. None of them fit. Does anyone know of a specialist supplier I can speak to, to try and find one that fits?...

I have used previous harvests before, just mae sure they are disease free (which by the sound of it, they are!) glad you have such a lovely crop, I haven't dared peek at mine yet :)

my sweetcorn are still in a seed tray in the greenhouse about 3" tall. butternut squash is also still in the greenhouse along with the cucumber and courgette seedlings. I shall have to pot everything on, I would normally plant out, but it is both too cold & too windy.
