BANANA SHALLOT SEED
Have just harvested my "Banana Shallot" seed. All heads safely in brown paper bags. Should have a small surplus. When ready I will come back, all I will need is a suitable S.A.E. SHALLOT MAN

Might have cracked the Banana Shallot shortage. Go to www.natoora.co.uk Long Shallots [Banana ?] £3:10 a kilo, the downside is £10 minimum delivery, still ordering say 3 kilos, its just a one off payment. Think of all the years ahead using ones own stock. Shallot Man

John English. re storing spuds, I use proper potato sacks, you can buy them from "Marshalls", though I found them too thin, I solved the problem by putting one sack inside the other. You can occasionally come across the heavy duty sacks at boot fairs. [the memsahibs job] Shallot Man

Help. Why do my swede seed finish up looking like the size of carrots ,showing some two-three inches above ground. but only 1-1/2" : across, it has been suggested that I thin them to late. any ideas welcome. Shallot Man
