as a new person to veg gardening and in the 30 - 40 year old catergory i imagine that KG is aiming at attracting people like myself, i must say i choose KG over all the other mags out there because it was clear and understandable with a friendly out look, but i would find a centre pull out that star...

i use a pair of N.I gloves most good army surplus stores stock them as northern ireland gloves they have an extra square foam pad on the knuckles.

woke up this morning to see grey clouds and lots of rain, the lawn looks so much better already, and in sure the peas i put in the ground yesterday will be enjoying the soaking :mrgreen:

you could try putting a uv filter on your system as when the algea particles pass through the uv light it kills them off thus reducing the green, also on a hot sunny day i would deffinately have my pumps running as when the water heats up any plants that you have in your pond will use up the residue...
