Please Peter, dont wind Chantal up today. Shes coming to mine for dinner tonight and i dont fancy having to calm her down :wink: I think its qiute nobel that she lets other share some of the limelight :lol:

Alan I can see some logic to getting 3 chickens - if one dies there is still a pair to keep each other company. But surely eventually one will be left on its own and need a new buddy anyway. I only have a small garden and live on my own so not sure if i can cope with 3 and the number of eggs they pr...

Not sure about the ostrich Peter- you would need to get a sand pit as well so that it could bury its head :)
Looks like when i see Chantal later i might be persuaded to consider the chicken idea. Wish id never mentioned it now.

thinking about getting chickens

Part of me would like to get a couple of chickens but part of me knows i shouldnt. What do you do in the winter about putting the chickens inside? I work afternoons and evenings. What do you do when you go on holiday? Dont think i would be able to do these things properly for them Please talk me out...

I wasnt scraping my car today. Havent used it yet . Not working till this afternoon.
Cold last night . I finished teaching my yoga class at 8.30pm and my car thermometer was read -7 then. Brrrrr
