We only have solar electricity in spain and at this time of year it can struggle to keep the batteries topped up in england with out the back up of the nation grid I think it would be a problem in summer it would work

I have a green reinforced plastic pollytunnel I know its not what you are asking about but we have not had any problems with it, no shortage of light its uv stable and seems to stand up to the gales we get

We are away wednesday for a month ive been trying to get the plot under control , we have emptied half the polytunnel and put all the green tomatoes into cardboard boxes, tried to get as much weeding done as possable but the weather has been against us for the last 2 weeks then there's always tomorrow

Richard , thank god its not just me with this problem even my 3 daughters refuse it, we would normally pass it on to other plot owners but when my wife planted the seeds in spring we where over run with 3 different types of small plants so as usual she went round to the other plotters and divided it...

I would give it a good spraying with carb cleaner to remove any 2 stroke residue as well as changing the plug for a new one if you have not done already, the fact that the problem occurs when cutting long grass is a bit strange as that is when the engine will be working the hardest it should get hot...
