tried something different this year, put some first early spuds in tubs and put them in the polytunnel about 3 weeks ago they are all about an inch and a half high so well chuffed,also radish spring onions sorrel and 2 different lettuce doing very well.

Been chitting some international kidney for about two and half week, about 3/4 have gone wet and moisture is bubbling out and running down into the egg tray and turning black, they are also going very soft, I have always chitted them the same way, would appreciate any info. I've never had any proble...

what ever i am going to grow i will have to go and buy new seeds, went down the lottie on sunday and found , instead of loads of packets of seeds and one large box of wild flower seed i had just a pile of paper and cardboard. Looks like mice!

I had a box of about ten or a dozen different plants given to me, one of them was called black cherry,if you like sweet toms then this is one to try,i have never tasted a tomatoe as sweet, i shall make room for one next year.

I have never used comfrey, can anyone tell me if i can just pick the leaves and put them in my compost along with nettles, sorry if i sound a bit dim but i am still learning about gardening. thanks jeff
