Well the ducklings have hatched and are now in the brooder with Kaiser, the lonely gosling.

"I told them I was lonely" says Kaiser "so they go and give me eighteen blooming ducklings!"

After our bad luck with the geese our spirits are lifted with today's hatch of fifteen lovely yellow Welsh Harlequin ducklings. We are holding off another hatch of goose eggs and the second incubator now has twenty-eight Cream Legbar eggs. Not counting them before their hatched, but we already have ...
