We went across to Perthshire to see the round Great Britain steam hauled train, a lovely sunny day too.

My Dad bought a rotavator as the digging got too much for him, later I used to do the work for him, to be honest I don't think much to them . He had clay, which we had double dug by hand and it had a lot of farm manure and old mushroom compost dug into it. If it were mine today I would just keep pil...

Dundee City Council have started laying small piles of earth along some verges and they are full of flower seeds, not all indigenous wild ones sadly, but nice all the same.

I put half my onions grown from seed out into a raised bed, kept some in the greenhouse just in case, been a nice day and I've had 4 hours in the garden getting things tidy and ready if the weather holds out I might sow something.

People go on about pea germination and mice often blamed for eating the seeds, so I have now set them a challenge, just planted some petit pois in a hanging basket in the greenhouse, wonder how that will turn out lol

My tomatoes look like they are peeping through in the propagator and the chillies , having been potted, on are romping along nicely.

I'm getting stuff to germinate in the greenhouse and I've put some fleece on the "roots" raised bed, but I doubt I will sow any carrots just yet.
