Today, The Trousers re-glazed my Grown-Up-Girls-Greenhouse, that he and Piglet relocated for me earlier this month. And tomorrow he's going to 'nuke' the glass with the power hose inside and out, for a sparkly start to the New Year.....
Then I'VE got some hard work to do !

QUESTION
I read somewhere (I think it was Robinsons?) that sowing Leeks before the last week in January would only serve to make them bolt later on. I'm only 'curious' really, as to why this doesn't apply to Shallots or Onions. Get my drift? I've got as far as filling the modules with half'n'half Levingtons ...

Tricia, I know exactly what you mean. Did it look like a spikey Dahlia ? Trousers and I reckon you'd cut the onion, 'score' it down to the root-base, keeping the root in-tact, to keep the whole flower together, then maybe soak it in a bowl of water until all the petals open. Then drain it really rea...

THIS is Wellie.......
Just got back from Chez Piglets. Re-booted 'puter, and trying this posting to see if our little Christmas Gremlin has died of boredom and/or starvation in our absence (BC isn't the best conversationalist, or cook, come to that)... and I really hope the Goose got a right royal stuffing Jenny ? And th...

Thanks Peter. We've just done that, and the problem still remains.... If you'd be kind enough to forward this to Jenny Green for me, I'd be ever so grateful.... Jenny, I agree with John. A stuffing cooked separately is what I'd do, and Delia does this one: the goose liver, finely chopped 1 Cox's app...

Testing Testing 1 2 3 Chantal, I type a response, let's say to Jenny's Goosey one, press SUBMIT, and it puts me onto a page for me to log in and type my password, but I'm already logged in and I can't get beyond that page, or the page I've typed. I've tried logging out then re-logging in, and still ...

PROBLEM
Would 'the powers that be' please sort me out. I've been trying to post some recipe suggestions to Jenny Green re her Goose posting, and I've also tried PMing her without success. Having tried to post my problem on the Website section of the forum as well, without success, I'm a teeny weeny bit anno...

Trousers and I popped in on you all at 2am this morning but you'd all 'gone off'. We surmised it was something to do with the Brassica Buffet..... and so 'went off' too. Snuck out early so as not to wake you all. Peter, I thought your Mum's uniform looked VERY fetching on you...... and it went very ...
