Naughty Tigger

Stop giving OH stick.

On the subject of the maga promoting the forum, a larger pane on the main-page rather than a little yellow "Forum" might help also.

Do make suggestions to Mr PH, he does listen, especially if he gets the same comments from a number of bodies.

Louvre problem

On my re-assembling greenhouse one of the louvre units has a fastener popped out of one of the two levers it holds together, which form part of the opening/closing handle/system. Should I try re-inserting and peaning (?) it out a bit, or should I drill it out and use a fresh rivit? Advice please.

JB, sorry for the delay. Apparently the use of road planings by my colleagues conservation volunteer group as path surfacing is banned due to the leaching out of the petroleum/tar content into the surrounding ground. Heavy metals were also mentioned. I suspect that this is a concerned person (not my...

JB, granted, poor example, but is my initial question correct? I seem to remember that nicotine is a potent poison of humans and other animals, some recollection, that if you ate x cigarettes you would croak. Cn't remember the values of x. Can remember it featuring in at least one detective storty, ...

Is what you guys doing actually nowadays illegal?

Like using creosote or softsoap, as it is not licenced for that use.

Silly question.

It's not my fault guv.

It's those big sisters, they led me astray with promises of moderation.....

Have fun at Malvern, I'll be beating myself with ten big sticks, ex-railway sleepers for the greenhouse base.

Our Council admistered site has a tenancy agreement which has an ASBO type clause about not upsetting neighbours of the site, and site neighbours, which looks like a standard catch-em-all type thing, does yours have that?

I use grass clippings as a mulch / biodegradeable fleece replacement, so sprinkle up to 1" deep.

No-diggers do I believe use them as the earthing up medium, but I do not know how.
