Re: For cat lovers.

Very Funny! It's like that in our house with the new kitten - she walks under the legs of the older ones while they are eating & helps herself to their food! They get in in a flutter trying to hiss at her, eat quickly or jump away as kitten's reaction is to arch up in defence but since she is un...

Re: Legionella in compost ??

That's a worry if it turns out a true fact but thinking about the journey of compost in bought plants it passes through quite a lot of places until we take that that plant home. As it lives in still water would probably be somewhere with tanks 2 hold water that are not used much.

Re: is everyone hibernating already?

Just got my first 2014 catalogue today! Seems too early as choosing seeds is what I like to do during hibernation & I'm still cropping & things are growing. As tempting as it is to have a peek through it I will be leaving it for a while yet!

Busy! Busy! Busy! So many functions & nights out this month - I'm not sure I'm popular or making up numbers, but as they are all on school nights as well I know I need more sleep for a start (or less work)!

Re: Wild Garlic

Oh Tigger - that sounds a lovely mix of onion flavours - love all alliums! Will try it in pots - & see what happens as I don't have a shady, damp spot but do have a shady spot & a big pot in a tray of water may well work! Anyway seeds were free - nothing to loose.

Re: Wild Garlic

Thanks Everyone! I have no damp shady woodland either home or lottie & with it's bad reputation will leave alone in the ground! Might do an experiment in a pot though just for fun then can cut off the seed heads - kidding myself really as it won't make it until that point as it won't get watered...
