Re: Late Winter Bits and Bobs.

Oh dear, just back from my allotment. Just as well all I went to do was to attack the boundary hedge at the top of my second plot. The utility space aka grass, between me concrete enclosed compost, shed, nature, fruit tree patch had an inch of water over about a third of it, the raspberry pl...

Re: The typewriter for hair

I do a buzz cut with my electric clippers, as short as they'll go - no comb attached.
Run my hand over my head for any missed bits.

Re: Mid Winter Bits and Bobs.

Encountered a needless road blocking accident on way to collect daughter from rural car home she works at. One of her colleagues had gone, probably too fast, wide round a ninety degree left hander, lost it braked and ended up nose into the the graveyard gates with a flat front left tyre. Which on in...

Re: Mid Winter Bits and Bobs.

Hatfield Forest NT normal access road was blocked, as it passes under the old Dunmow railway line, now the...

Re: Mid Winter Bits and Bobs.

Cleared five years worth of greenhouse composting from the little concrete coal bunker I set up years ago as a compost bin. Barrowed four full barrows up to the bit of allotment I rotovated after harvesting my onions. Repurposed the bunker into a different sort of compost bin, it now holds all of my...

Chantal, I think OH is already there!

Chicken holds out for lemon drizel cake, it's OH in that suit he had to wear when he was advertising for KFC.

Re: Overworked ears

First cloth mask I got was a bit tight, ended up using two cycling ankle bands. Velcro ended cloth strips with reflective patches. Used them as a pair of C loops, one on back of head, one on tip, linked to the D loops of the mask.

Re: Mid Winter Bits and Bobs.

Well that was an "interesting" Christmas and New Year break. All four of us have had covid, I'm now released from self-isolation as of midnight 3rd Jan, still rough, tired and attention span somewhat lacking. Dogs are pissed off at no walks. Our son tested Saturday 19th and got a positive ...

Am sure there used to be a link below the POST REPLY section but nothing appearing on my laptop screen Below the box you type in ...
