I planted mine a couple of days ago (lautrec wight) along with the electric and radar onions curtacy of kitchen garden mag and dt brown seeds. planted them as per dt browns instructions 1" covering of soil.

this is my first year growing chilli/peppers, I have only just found this topic and found it very helpful, thanks to all of you who have posted on the subject, I think next year will be much more productive. What a lovely forum to be a member of!

My large pest came in the form of a cat from a new neighbour, now i could not hurt a cat but when it uses my border as a toilet steps had to be taken, so the next best thing was a menacing looking concrete ornamental cat from the garden center. Job done not seen it since.

thanks anyway Primrose I will keep asking around locally. Westi, they are a bit more energetic up here they climed to the top of my apple tree which is about 6ft and cleared the lot last year.

I have just had about a 3rd of my potatoes eaten by them, what i would like to know is? can i still plant in that bed or will i have to disinfect or even remove the soil, would appreciate your thoughts on the subject. thanks jeff

re-what you eat,i follow the fact that if you eat 2000 calories and burn 1500 off most people will get fat,it works for me(i am fat).
