Chantal, could you utilise some wicker screens or if you are making a big compost area like mine, make an extra "bay" for your lulu which would solve the transparancy issue and save the transport of your liquid gold as you would only need to chuck it into the next bay. :D

Hi Catbud, there are no stupid questions but plenty of daft answers. With things like lettuce you can harvest whenever you think its big enough. Some of the cut and come again lettuce are just that and will regrow several times when you pick of the leaves you need. An easy way for main crop potatoes...

I get that as well Peter and have to lop it off with a small pair of scissors, try as I might to get soft silky hands ready for Grock they always stay dry and rough.
