I planted some in large pots just before going on holiday beginning of october I have kept topping up the pot and the plants now have good leaves about 6-8 inches across. I give mine a green cabbage in a wire hanging basket when confined as feather pecking/eating can be a boredom thing worth a try to save it starting up again :roll:

frontline for Dogs or cats ! which you need a prescription for spray but you can buy spot on without I was told by my vet one drop on bare skin under each wing or for scaly leg one on each leg ! not liscensed for poultry but no egg withdrawal and kills all biting beasties I had scaley leg after brin...

It is hard sometimes with animals but we have to do what is in their best interests, looks as though you have found him the perfect place and plenty of new lady friends for him, you will miss his early morning wake up calls, take care .

here is the other link, I have never done it but watched a neighbour do it they go very quiet on their backs but I still think it is a 2 hander 1 seated, with pulling the nail sheath off it takes longer to regrow than if you trim them, I hope you manage to sort the problem

Yes you can the heat softens the claw and it comes away painlessly will find the link for you :)

I use cheap mini bottles 4 for £5 for cooking and the good stuff to drink instead of white wine though I use dry cider as it is cheaper and gives a good result and nice to drink too :wink:
