I finally did it, and I'm here to chivvy on the rest of you! About your "Tattie howker" ! nothing cannot be repaired. If you go to a small engineering firm that can braize, I'm sure they will try their best if you tell them it's one of your favourite garden tools. If you are going to throw it out, throw it my way! Cheers, Tony.

OLD as my tongue and a bit older than my teeth as my old Dad used to say. 59 years old. Made redundant last May when Bowyers lay on their backs and kicked their legs in the air. As I'm suffering from type 2 (late onset) diabetes, and the present economic climate....you could call me an early retiree...
