ive used various makes and sizes and decided that bosch are arguably the best, not cheap ,but cut well and last , the one ive got now is a 70cm blade with 20 odd mm tooth spacing , will cut thumb sized twigsand the long blade makes the job go quicker, they do smaller ones if thats too heavy. more bu...

just spent acouple of hours tackling my veg patch that hasnt been touched for two years, the late morning january sun with an air temp of about 10 degrees made such a thing redundant.... wellies and gardening gloves were quite sufficient.

Once I was expected to connect to an old bath tap with a massive oval spout, I still haven't figured what I need to take with me just in case I come across another bath tap co-opted into service from the scrap heap." old tin bath?? or a bucket once found a toilet pan in the middle of a camping...

ive been using a polycut strimmer head ..... its a plastic disc with 3 bolt on free swinging 4 inch plastic blades. on an old overgrown veg patch ...waist high grass, nettles, thistles the odd bramble and iron stake..... burnt through 2 tanks of fuel with no issues with the head at all... only time ...

its rare that a deck is too far gone to be impossible to repair.... just takes time some steel and a mig welder. another option might be to fibreglass the innner surface. the only other option is a used deck /mower off of ebay... you sometimes get mowers with duff engines or gearboxes but good decks.

first we need to know how big these large branches and trees are and how many youre going to be cutting? start with the folding pruning saws ...which i personally dont like then theres the bow saw... i use one with a triangular frame cos it fits in better than the bigger saws. then theres the power ...

its a head like this one m the same head is currently on both straight and bent shaft machines which rotate in opposite directions. the spool is fitted different side up depending on which shaft youve got, one side is marked "this side out for straight shaft" and the other side marked for ...

if you dont bother with the shorts and tee shirt it halves the number of clothes to put on and off .... might need the factor 30 on more than just yer head though. :D

spent an hour or two finding my father's fruit bushes yesterday afternoon...the ryobi head with the string wound in the opposite direction to the arrow embossed on it worked perfectly. :?

am i right in summing up the current situation as follows 1, 100 cows in a field.... 2 half a dozen badgers roam over the field and give one of the cows tb, 3 government shoot all 100 cows..... 4 taxpayer pays out £100k to get the farmer 100 new cows... .... 5 ...go back to 1 and start again. surely...
