My plums have done amazinly well this year. I have picked 6 20 litre boxes full off 2 trees. We left about 2 boxes on the trees.
one is a victoria and the other a damson

Usually 2 veg with sunday dinner, today I have made a mince and pasta bake, in the mince there's onions, celery, carrots and runner beans, all nice and finely chopped. there's so much veg you can barely see the mince meat :lol:

Poor cherry crop, lots of apples, damson and victoria plums, pears are on a dwarf stock so its only a small tree, but got a fair few pears on it.

Not so good on the pickles, but can make a mean saourkrout. :D . Did make a passable tomato chutney last year. :)

I grow most veggies, however, I personally don't like most veggies. I will eat a small amount of most but you will never see me eating sprouts,(shudder) they're horrible. My family all have a good laugh at me because of this.

Raining this morning, but I believe the forcast was for rain over most of the country. On friday we were in the White Rose shopping centre during the storm that hit. just sat down for a nice cuppa when the building was hit by lightning. Biggest bang I have ever heard. but no dammage done, just a set...

no change to soil, planted them out late oct/early november, can't remember which. Did give it a balanced feed in spring, everything looked fine, started dying back a couple of weeks ago, dug them up yesterday all very small. some rot. Not a lot of problems with slugs, but we do have a lot of snails...

My garlic is a failure this year, never really had great crops of it but never as bad as this year.

Coming up to the time of year where I empty out my shed and put it all back in tidy. never lasts for long though :oops: . it's only asmall 4x6 shed.
