sun loving iris

Hi All,

I have some sun loving iris's in my garden which have not flowered for the last 2 years and it looks like there are not going to be any this year either.

Any idea's, do they need dividing?, when is the best time to divide, or do they just need some fertlizer.

Thanks

Re: Can you believe it? Wacky garden tips

Crush some extra strong mints and lay the resulting powder on top of the soil when you plant your pea seeds.

The smell of the mints means the mice cannot find the pea seeds.

I have tried this and it works :)

FIRES

Hi All,

Fires have become a hot topic on our allotment recently, a ban has been put in place because of a complaint from a nearby house.

I thought I would have a straw poll and find out what is and is not allowed on your allotments with regards to fires.

Thanks for your help

Regards

If there is EVER any lamb left (2 teenage sons!!) I make a sheppards pie which is always popular with a bit of melted cheese ontop of the potato

Re: Mini cucumbers.

Hi,

My favorite is Zeina from Thomson and Morgan.

The seeds are expensive, but I try to get them when they have their sale so they are cheaper.
