That's the variety I initially tried, very thick seed case, very slim contents.
The next year I tried a seed producing (for human consumption) variety, still slim contents, just in a thin case. :?

More dung less bedding.
Dung isn't large pellets, it's sloppy, so you get a better distribution and rot down.

Primrose, I tried that once, there wasn't enough edible content to be worthwhile, there are varieties bred for seed as a crop.

Being tucked up in the dry on a sofa watching with a beer or two sounds a good venue to me but ai don,t suppose everybody can face beer that early in the morning. Perhaps people were saving their beer for afternoon viewing on catch up tv once they knew the result ! A fair number of my friends start...

Only because I'm in my Saturday's home game environment. The shutter if down because, guess what, we have wind and rain aimed right at it. I'm guessing you are not in the UK, "gas" being petrol.
Main choice in the mini tiller arena is two or four stroke engine?

Interesting idea Peter. The plain 6" concrete gravel boards look cheaper than the plastic. They are usually 6' long so will need some exciting angle grinding. I wonder if they would 'dowel' together by drilling and knocking in reinforcing bars or will they be too hard. I think dowelling would ...
