Green Caterpillars on Cabbage

As can be seen my cabbage plant got eaten by green caterpillars.

They have all been removed but notice some green bits on the top of the soil (inside circle) are they caterpillar eggs?

If they are, do I just scrape them off & do they go lower into the soil.

Re: Winter Greens Collection

Sounds worth doing Tigerburnie as my bed is similar to yours with lots of manure & different compost and is at least 14inchs deep so I’ll give it a go. Thanks.

Re: Winter Greens Collection

Thank you all for your input. I have a bed 4ft square which had onions/garlic which I wanted to use. Seems like I am short on space. Anybody grown them in pots?

Winter Greens Collection

Hi, Interested in your winter greens collection "20 plants, 5 of each variety;
Kale Reflex F1, Sprouting Broccoli Rudolph, Cauliflower Amsterdam F1 and Cababge Tundra F1 AGM"

How much room will one of each plant need?

Thanks Colin

Hi Richard, like the netting over the blue hoops looks very neat, did you make this yourself or brought off the peg.

Re: Solstice, the best time to harvest most garlic.

Just pulled up Tuscanni Wight which shows some rust.

Should I do anything or just leave it to dry out?

Re: Ripen Tomatoes

I am looking forward to eating them as first time ever growing them.

Got the hang of picking the middle shoot off now, they went crazy at the beginning though all over the place.

Wondering what I do to a branch with leaves covering the tomatoes, do I remove the branch, leaves or do nothing?
