there was a lot of white roots when the manure delivered but i used a push hoe to get all the roots out i went through the manure carefully but obviously i didn't get all of them .if i keep removing the seedlings will i eventually over time defeat them .i am just worried that they will be hard to re...

i have arran victory, sarpo mira, setanta and roosters that will be planted from early march outside in the veg bed, i have always chitted the early potato varities but should i chitt the main and late crop potatoes

to chitt or not to chit main crop potatoes thats the question

we just finished planting orla potatoes into the poly tunnel.we started about 3 weeks ago they are under a layer of fleece now after they were planted in the tunnel this will be removed when the treat of frost has gone.last year we harvested our first potatoes on the 5th of may.

if the baby rabbits are handled on a regular basis they are less likely to scratch .new Zealand whites are one of the most commonly grown for meat.there are several web sites with very good information .just type in new Zealand white rabbits and that should give you all the information that you need...

Companys which markets seaweed products smell free i don't use them as i am living within 2000 meters from the sea shore.they might be of some use to you maybe

i haven't had trouble with forking of roots of carrots and parsnips when i use home made compost, but if the compost wasn't composted fully this (might) effect the roots .manure that is a few years old is supposed to be ok to grow root crops but i haven't tried it my self just in case so you are no ...
