Alderman can give an amazing crop, Monika but, they do need ideal conditions to do this...too wet or dry, too windy, or if the soil isn't in the best of condition, will all give a poor crop. They don't get the long term weather foecast right, anymore than I do, by just guessing...I think we are in for some heavy snowfall before the Winter is out...

Afternoon Elmigo, any quick maturing crops like, lettuce and raddish or the like, will appreciate a shady spot in the Summer...infact, it will help stop them bolting and going to seed...
