I now have two very thin, very green, tips showing through. I hope this isn't all I'll get from 20 crowns!!

I put also put mine, Connovers colossal, in about 6" deep, but that was what I had been advised to do. Still no signs yet.

So when were the spiders given away? Did I miss that giveaway?

I put 1 year asparagus crowns in at the end of march and have not yet seen any spears comming out. Should I be worried yet?

I have some spring cabbages which have gone to seed. I have two questions, what would make them go to seed, and how can I prevent it happening to the others?
