I understand that wholemeal does not have to have these additions. Is there any flour that escapes this rule? Is it the same for Spelt flour? Just discover...

Portugese Cabagge AKA as Couve Tronchuda
Hello Can anyone assist? I would like to grow this cabbage, an old mild type where you cooked the leves and stalks separately and apparently does not have a cabbage smell during cooking. Several sites were suggested when I googled it but they don't seem to do it anymore. Seems quite popular in Ameri...

I have a large bag remaining after repotting blueberries etc. What can I do with it? Can I dig it into the ground, if so what should be added? Any ideas?

I have recently acquired the use of a piece of ground (the garden next door) the garden and the building next to it where covered in ivy and as I do not use weed killers (not that I understand them to be particularly effective in this case anyway) I have been sawing, chopping, digging etc. The stems...

Re: Ivy growing up the side of a house
Thanks for the reply, I have cut through some of the lower growth and the growth above has not died. I have been told that ivy can survive easily even when it has been severed from its roots.
