well, the world record has been broken by ron wallace of rhode island north america,he's weighed in with a monster of 1502lbs.this beats larry checkons previous record of 1459lbs .there's still a few more weigh off results to come yet.i'll keep updates on here.

Apologies peter, my pumpkin seeds ( i planted 2) did not do well, they put on masses of growth, foliage and male flowers, but i only ever saw 3 females, 2 of these rotted and dropped off, the other grew to about football size then it went all mushy underneath. crap,just found a bottom split in my baby.im gutted she looked good for another 2 weeks at least.i'll cut her on monday and take her to the local abattoir to be weighed.probaly the best ive had so far,but there's always next year.good luck everyone.peter

Sorry Peter I feel duly chastised. Mine all seemed to be male flowers and very few female flowers. The fruit that was set didn't do very well.
