Hi, my allotment seems to have been infested with chickweed,
Unfortunately I started weeding and turning the soil before I realised what it was. Can you advise how best way to deal with it ?
Best regards.

Tomato blight
My tomatoes have again been infected with blight. I've dug up the plants and binned them and I believe I should now sterilize the soil. Can you recommend anything? Somebody mentioned Jeyes fluid but I'm not sure if that's allowed any more.

Brassica protection
I have covered my broccoli with netting but the plants are rapidly reaching the top. Any idea when it's safe to uncover them ?

Harvesting main crop spuds
I've started digging my main crop spuds this week and have already accidentally pierced quite a few. I try to insert the fork as upright as possible but does anyone have any top tips to avoid this problem ?

Autumn raspberries
My raspberry plants are well established and are getting a bit out of hand. I cut them back to ground level in the winter but should I thin them out when they re-emerge in the spring ?

Tarragon
We love French Tarragon but have never successfully grown it, despite several attempts. We don't have a greenhouse apart from a plastic zip up one. Any suggestions ?

Re: Wood chip
Thanks Peter, I've heard conflicting information, it's good to hear first hand knowledge.

Wood chip
I'm new to this forum so forgive me if the question had already been raised. I can probably get hold of wood chip from a local tree surgeon, can I use it as mulch on my allotment ?
