Next year and the same problem

Hello! It's the next year I've got a problem with my cabbage. I'm fed up and don't know what to do. Last year I noticed a small worms on my cabbages which were getting bigger. I managed to survive some cabbages but this year the problem came back. I tried using fertilizers and sprayings but I don't ...

Re: How to create more humidity indoors?

I think that it is a good idea to have a humidifier if you want your plants to have higher humidity. What is more, some people keep their plants in the bathroom. However, if you don't have access to full light it is not a good idea to keep them in here. I think that you should very often spray them ...

Re: hydroponics

Hello! I think that hydroponics is quite unusual, however, it is really successful. Plants have full access to water so they bring it while needed. Many people don't know about this method but it can really improve our garden! I have a very small home-hydroponic system and I have to say that plants ...

Re: Kiwano (horned melon)

Wow! I am impressed, really. Where did you get the seed? I don't know if you have mentioned that, so I am sorry if it shown up somewhere in here. Kiwano is something really unusual in my country. I don't know how it tastes but there are some of them appearing in some shops so I have to buy one and t...

Re: Easy ice cream - strawberry

Once I made strawberry ice creams. They were amazing, much more delicious than these from shops. My recipe was a bit different than yours, I don't remember it well but probably there was powdered sugar to add. You have to have quite big amounts of ingredients if you want to have lots of ice cream! M...

Re: Great Zucchini Recipe

Oh, I have to try this recipe! I love zucchinis, they are very tasty but often I do the same things with them. The best ones are filled with meat, my whole family loves them! Slices of zucchini sounds great!

Re: I'm not good at following recipes.

Hmm..I think that it all depends on what you want to get. For example, if I am doing something for first time and I don't know what to do I strictly follow the recipe. But if I am acquainted with the dish I improve it in the way I like. I am really bad at preparing desserts so very often even if I f...

Re: Planting ideas please

Hello Stephen! There are many articles in the internet about shady and narrow gardens. But definitely, if you want your herbs to be used in the kitchen you have to grow lots of them. You can even ask your cook how many basil does he use during the week! Remember also that soil for shady-placed herbs...

Re: How do you cook?

Hello Stravaig! To be honest, cookbooks are amazing but when it comes to me more often I use internet if I need a recipe. If I am searching for it definitely I would prefer if it is more precised in amount of ingredients needed etc. Mostly, I do not follow recipes strictly; however, it is good to kn...

Re: Shady plants...

Hello! There are many shady-like plants. I also grow some of them and then, of course, I use them while cooking. For example broccoli, parsley, spinach, kale, carrots, garlic and beets. They need 4 hours or even less of a sun a day so it is really little.

Re: Christmas trees

In my area there are hundreds of Christmas trees in supermarkets but also it is possible to buy a Christmas tree from a special area in forests where trees are grown for Christmas. People come here, they choose which tree they want and they cut it. Nothing wastes.
