Thankyou for all your replies, have considered annuals but would prefer perennials, I thought maybe some Dahlias( as I love them) would be nice, but worried about wind damage, also think I do need to remove some of the gravel in the bed & top dress it this Autumn

Nibbled off Bark on Cherry Tree
Hi All, Need some advice please on my 4 yr old Cherry Tree, the Bark has been nibbled off , not sure by what? The area is 3inches by 1 inch , should I cover this somehow? Ax I am worried about disease like Silver leaf getting in, TIA Connie
