I'm not convinced your potatoes have got blight, having said that I haven't got an alternative explanation for the blotches. Blight tends to be paler, have sort of rings in it and makes the leaves soft whereas yours still look quite stiff. download.jpg I wouldn't panic too much unless it starts spr...

Your probably right Compo but don't water go down drains the opposite ways in the different hemispheres!

Runner Bean

In the UK, and I assume in all the northern hemisphere runner Beans go up the pole anticlockwise. Do they go clockwise in the southern hemisphere?

Also do climbing French beans go anti clockwise or clockwise?

I used dobies last year and phoned the order to them, when my phone bill arrived I found an additional charge for the 0345 number so I will not be using them again or any others that use 0345.

They are great. one warning if you boil milk don't put it on the highest setting, I have 9 settings and the highest setting I use is 7 for milk any higher and it will burn even if it is constantly stirred. It will take a little longer than expected

The mower turns over, so I guess the electric wiring sounds OK but as it turns slowly I would have the battery checked.

I know the Nantes carrot, I've Grown them and eaten them, but they were Nantes 3. Do the change in number signify anything, Is Nantes 5 better than Nantes 3 ???
