Re: A Pictorial Trip Around the Plot

Good morning. I need advice about raised beds, please. I have a veggie plot in a city garden and am finding it more and more difficult getting down to ground level! Are beds tailored to the height of the gardener? And I see from your pictures that you have beds of varying heights. Why? Also, how muc...

Re: Courgette seed failure, is it too late to start again

Hi Westi Good luck with your yellows. Mine are coming along quite well, so far! I have never grown them before and wonder if they have a different taste to the green ones. Do they? Then when I was planting my four out it was too windy and the stems snapped on two of them! I am now back to four plants....,...

Re: Autumn Bliss raspberry canes

Hello everyone and many thanks for quite a variety of answers to my question. The manure arrives in packets tomorrow (I live in a city and without a car) and in due course shall knuckle down to gradually dealing with it. Also, good idea about the slates.....sorry, forget who suggested that.

Autumn Bliss raspberry canes

I need some advice about my Autumn Bliss raspberry canes, please? I pruned them yesterday and today whilst tidying them before the rain and manure laying would like to move some 'escapees'. Can I do this?
