Got the new shed up last week and all pained outside, it was an ex-display unit which they damaged the felt to get it down, hoping they will replace it. Have 100 spuds on order from one shop & going to order same amount from another shop, have room for 250 spuds so will make up shortfall with ot...

A college brought some instant lottery tickets to enclose with Christmas cards for his special customers. Unfortunately his curiosity got the better of him so he checked them out himself.

It works the other way bag spuds 29p, cauliflower 29p although they were special offer and doubt they were available in the extra shop.

Hi Sally, What an interesting explanation. Thank you. Do wonder if manufactures instructions should be updated, to reflect modern conditions. Last year I planted 24 spuds (calculator said 8/10) in the 3 x 10 ft bed and covered with straw, very easy to harvest by pulling up and no major slug damage. ...

Spacing

Can anybody explain why spaces between rows are usually bigger than the space between plants.

Example:
"Plant shallot sets 25cm (10in) apart in rows 40cm (16in) apart from mid-November to mid-March."

2 Take Action Even if it is just to sow one packet of free seeds you come across.
