You won't believe I've never seen Oca before. It's look like similar body structure of turmeric. Is it turmeric type or something else?

Re: Apple Crisps

Here is how you can do the Apple crisp:

Heat oven to 140C/120C fan/gas 1. Thinly slice the apple through the core – use a mandolin, if you have one, to get thin slices. Arrange the slices on a baking tray lined with parchment and bake for 40 mins. Cool until crisp.

Re: Too Many Tomatoes!

Let me know your location and I'll come there and take away all of those extra tomatoes you've in store. I love fresh tomato sauce and where I live it's very expensive here to buy tomatoes. There won't be that many spare tomatoes here in mid-January no worries, do you have tomato produce farms?

Re: soup making

Coincidence, the other day I've made soup for my wife. Though my soup was already previously ready, all I did added water and boiled in the fire. And then served it. Interesting thing is after making such ready made soup from Maggie, we didn't found it very tasty. However robo, it's good to know you...

Re: Asparagus recipies

Well I do like asparagus a lot. It's one of my favorite spring vegetables. I usually prepare it in grilling style. Like to eat it as sweet, crisp, and just plain easy. Just toss the asparagus with a little oil before throwing them on the grates, and finish with a simple sprinkle of salt and pepper. ...

A fruit juicer perhaps you need to make juice out of the apples you have! My wife blends juice regularly and I can see she uses juicer machine for this purpose.
