Re: Early Summer Bits and Bobs.
I’d love to take cash but don’t have a nearby bank so it’s difficult to get it into a bank. This is one of the issues with local banks closing.

Re: Tall (indeterminate) tomatoes.
Wow Robo, obs a leftover thought from a previous era. I shan’t worry about tipping them out now.
Thanks Burnie, where will I find the video?

Tall (indeterminate) tomatoes.

However, with the lack of a tall greenhouse I’ve decided to experiment and allow a couple of side shoots at the top grow with trusses. It’s still 4 trusses b...

Oh no Westi, what a pain. Hope it is sorted soon. These companies are quick to take our money but slow to respond when there are any issues.

Re: Early Summer Bits and Bobs.
Just finished watering yesterday, the gloriously sunny day that it was, when it tipped it down! Honestly the only thing growing in this weather seems to be the weeds. My tatties are leggy, my chard is unsure, mange tout are starting to give some pods but generally it’s not warm enough for anything t...

Re: Grow Your Own Drugs
Maybe bag it up and see if any wreath making courses would be interested in it Primrose? I did one a few years ago and they were at great pains to tell us not to go picking it from the forest but only get from accredited sources. Surely someone’s lawn is a good place to get it from

Re: Early Summer Bits and Bobs.
I’m the same Retro… have used wool pellets for the first time this year and they really work. It’s expensive though so might try and recover some of it once it’s done its job and recycle it next year. Did find a woollen roll to use in the garden, that might be easier. Otherwise I’m thinking some goo...

Re: Early Summer Bits and Bobs.
I still haven't planted anythign out, I am so worried about the slugs, I'll basically be laying out a royal feast for them. A lot of my young plants are still in the conservatory after a whole batch of kale and PSB disappeared overnight. I’ve started using sheep wool pellets and am very impressed w...

Re: Early Summer Bits and Bobs.
Managed to get the veg bed weeded today and the tatties banked up in the few moments of dry weather we had. Getting a bulk load of logs delivered tomorrow so we can stock up for the winter so tidied the drive between the house and found the cutest little orange frog. Have put it in our puddl. Erm po...
